Misdaminor battery while on probation
I received five years probation for felony drug possession. Two years on probation I got into a scuffle and was charged with battery. What can I expect?

Re: Misdaminor battery while on probation
You can expect your probation officer to file a Petition to revoke your probation. The probation officer may also put out a warrant for your arrest or have you taken into custody the next time you appear at the probation office. You definitely need to hire the best criminal defense attorney you can afford on both the present charge and on the probation revocation. With luck and a good attorney you may still be able to stay out of jail.
