Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
The Missouri state statuses says that a search warrant has to be signed by the prosecuting attorney of the county were the search is to take place. The public defender has told me that it can be signed by any peace officer. I know any peace office can apply for a warrant but does the prosecuting attorney of that county have to sign it?
