What is disclosure and discovery? Are they the same?Why would the prosecution file for disclosure?

Are you the defendant in the prosecution of a criminal charge? If so, are you represented by an attorney? If you are, then you should be directing ALL legal questions to your attorney and relyingupon him or her for ALL of your legal advice. If you are not represented, you should be. I strongly suggest that you hire a competent criminal defense lawyer in the county where the charges are pending as soon as possible, and if you can't afford one, ask the Court to appoint the public defender.
