Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
I got a note in the mail saying that it needed to be to court for my ex for something I have no idea he didn't complete classes or something I just needed to know its 3 hours away if I had to show up to court

Courts generally don't send out notes. But, if you got served with a Summons or Notice of a hearing, you or your attorney should appear. If you just ignore it, you could get a bench warrant. That could cost you many times more than her ng an attorney to look into the effect of this "note" you got in the mail.
If what you got is a subpoena to be a witness, you may be entitled to reimbursement for your travel expenses and possibly lost work.
