never notified of warrant pos of Meth is this legal

arrested kept 18 hours let go and told there were no charges. one year later a friend looked up warrants and found one for my name

There is no requirement that you be notified when the criminal charges are filed and the warrant is issued. Obviously, you need to hire the best criminal defense attorney you can afford immedately. Your lawyer may be able to set up a "voluntary surrender" under which you can avoid the inconvenience of being arrested, and have arrangements to post bond already set up.
