Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

Pending Charges

If you are arrested and finger printed does that mean you have charges pending? The arrest showed up on a finger print background check for a job, however when I contacted city, state and federal they have no information on this- could charge be pending. I am interested in applying for another job that will check my finger prints and I would like to visit a friend in prison, so I need to know if these are considered pending charges

Re: Pending Charges

I would have to know more facts and probably call the local authorities in order to know for sure. It sounds like you may have an arrest on your record with no conviction. In Missouri, an arrest record can be expunged. So, if this is the case, it may be beneficial for you to hire an attorney to get your arrest record expunged. You can email or call if you would like to discuss further.

Thanks,

James
