can a person be in parole violation for something that happened before the parole?

It sounds impossible. But, a lie or fraudulent statement made before the pastillparole began could be the basis to rescind or terminate release on parole. That isn't the typical violation, but it works the same. If you think this might happen to you, I recommend that you consult directly with an attorney, in your area, very soon.
