Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
probation violation, Missouri
My husband left Missouri 5 years ago, just after they put him on probation for passing a bad check less than $150.00. He has been picked up this past weekend in Missouri, warrants from not reporting to the probation officer. Failure to appear, and Probation violation. Will he have to do time? Will he have to do the 2 years he was on probation? He has not been in any trouble since.

Re: probation violation, Missouri
An attorney can not give you any specific answer to your question without knowing all of the facts. Apparently your husband is going to go through a probation revocation hearing. He needs an attorney to represent him at that hearing. It is usually not automatic that he will have to do time, but again, we do not have all of the facts. Have your husband hire an attorney.
