Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

I got pulled over and they searched my car. They found a pipe and a tiny bit of weed. They gave me a ticket for possession of under 35 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphanalia. How do i get out of this and what do I do? I've never been pulled over before and I have no idea what to do.
