questions of obstructing justice and refusing to leave crime scene

I got arrested and on my ticket it said obstructing an officer from performing his duties and refusing to leave a crime scene. The cop never told me what I was being arrested for and I was standing outside of my apt. with 2 of my friends when they were getting tickets for underage drinking. I am 21 and I tried to talk rationally to the cops because he was arresting them also. I was the only one who got taken to jail. They videotaped it but kept turning it on and off. I am just wondering if this is going to cost alot and if I can fight them in some way because I believe i didn't do anything wrong.

Your question does not include enough information. Where did this arrest take place? What court are you supposed to appear in and when? Are you charged with the violation of a municipal ordinance, a county ordinance, or a state statute? Depending upon your answers to these questions, it may be relatively easy and inexpensive to take care of these charges, or it could be difficult and expensive. In any event I would strongly suggest that you not try to "fight" this on your own without legal counsel. From your post it appears that you tried to speak rationally to the police on your own with the result that you got arrested.
