Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
Relationship w soon to be 18 yr old
I have been in a relationship for almost 2 yrs with someone who will shortly turn 18. I am much older. We both reside in missouri. The mother (custodial parent) has been aware of this from 2 weeks after it started and chose to allow us to continue seeing each other, up until about 5 months ago. We were still allowed phone and email. The person I am involved with is turning 18 soon and wants to move out of that house and in with me. I feel that when this person turns 18, the mother can't interfere in the relationship further and also feel her allowing the relationship constitutes consent in this state. What legal ground will we be on if this person chooses to move in with me?

An 18 year old can decide where to live without parental consent. However, you posted your question under "criminal law". Are you concerned with being prosecuted for something?
