Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
I have repeatably asked my ex step daughter ( now 18 yrs old) to remove pictures of my minor daughter from her Facebook page. Not only has she refused, but has now set those pictures to fully public and added 100 more.
My small daughter's father was in a car accident during my pregnancy and sustained a major head injury. He has never seen her and from information gathered from his own family, he is unpredictable and potentially dangerous. I do NOT want any photos posted publicly for that reason. He signed Termination of Rights papers, but I was told I could not file these until she is legally adopted by someone else.
Do I have any legal recourse to have theses removed??

Contact Facebook. They are changing their own rules on this and may remove the photos for you. However, if her father gives permisison for the publication, you may not be able to do anything until his parental rights are terminated. If he has been adjudicated incompetent or incpaciated, then you might be able to do something. But, unitl then either parent can probably consent to publication of nonporn photos. Your other option is to make a good relationship with your former step daughter.
Good luck
