The question you asked depends upon do many variables, that it would be impossible to enderwith certainty. The state in which you report, might do little, it they might prod theProsecutor with jurisdiction, (in the state where the abuse occurred) to bring charges against the abuser. If you wish to see that person prosecuted, you should report the abuse, in the state and county where the abuse occurred most. This is especially true, if the abuser still resides there. You should consult dir ectly with a civil practice attorney, in your area They will need more information than you can provide here, in order you advise you of your options. Many offer a free or low cost initial consultation. Go find one soon, as you have a limed time in which to have anything done through the courts.

Good luck
