reschudle court date
can a district attorney reschedule court date for traffic violation if officer is on a personal vacation?

Ultimately the Court (Judge) is authorized to schedule or postpone a hearing. But, in reality the attorneys often agree to set matters over. This is common where a witness is unavailable. I am assuming that the officer on vacation was a fact witness for the state. You shuld have been consulted about the date change, but it does not appear to violate any laws for the date to have been changed due to a witness being on vacation.
