Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
I am doing a research paper for school on Animal Cruelty Laws vs. Child abuse laws. I know what the sentence would be in Missouri for poisoning an animal to death; however I am unable to find anything on what the sentence would be if someone poisoned a child to death in Missouri. Would you be able to tell me what the sentence would be for poisoning a child to death in the state of Missouri?

Murder is still murder. The sentence range would depend upon the level of homicide conviction. It could range from several years on probation to life in prison or a death sentence.
Good luck on your paper
