Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
revoking cash bail
I live in Independence, Missouri. I recently posted cash bail for my daughter to keep her from going to jail. She apparently did not learn anything from being incarcerated the first time for 3 weeks. Is it possible for me to revoke her bail when she goes to court for fear she will continue to use drugs if I do not stop her this way?

Re: revoking cash bail
If your daughter appears at her court hearing, you may request a refund of the bail money you paid. It would then be up to your daughter to find another way to pay a bond. Only the Judge can revoke someone's right to bail out of jail. But, you can refuse to be on the hook for her again.
Good Luck
