Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
can a search warrant date that was already signed by a judge be crossed out in ink pen and a new date be put in ? the date that was on the warrant was for sept 13th and the new date that was wrote in was oct 7th

What you described is a flawed and probalby worthless warrant. The person who is the taget of that warrant coudl probalby refuse to honor it and force the officers to seek anew warrant. If not. ad the target verbaly protests the search, anything found relative to that search would probably get disallowed (excluded) as evidence agaisnt the target. BUT, if the person who is shown this flawed warrant and does not protest the search, could be said to have consented to the search. In that case, evidence found mazy be admissable against them. The protest need nto be violent. The statement "that is an adulterated, and possibly forged warrant, I do nto think it allows the search of anything, and I protest any such search" would be sufficient.
Good luck
