Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
Being served papers
I was told that i am tring to be served papers for a court date that has nothing to do with me I am out of town and cant get there. will I get into trouble if i dont go

Either you or your attorney can search for what cases have been filed against you or on your behalf. If you simply "avoid" being served with written notice, you can still have judgment entered against you. A purely property judgment, can be had with publising or posting. You would be foolish to not find out what it is they are attempting to serve you with.
