Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
shoplifting
I was detained at Dierbergs today for shoplifting the total amount was 46.15. I am a 54 year old female and have no history of this or any other crime. I was questioned, had my photo taken, a report was filled out and the police were called. The officer questioned me gave me a paper with larceny prohibited and a court date of March 26 at 7pm.Obviously I had a lapse of judgement and I would like representation as I do not know what to expect. This is my first offense of any type. Would you be able to help me and how much would it run. Thank you for any advice you can give me.
