Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
Shoplifting first offense
A friend and I were both caught shoplifting. I had like $55 worth of clothes and she had almost $90. I have never been in legal trouble before and I dont know if i need a lawyer or not. What could happen? Jail time or probation?

Re: Shoplifting first offense
You need an attorney. Perhaps you do not realize how this may effect your record, and how your record may effect you in later life. It would be a definite mistake to try to handle this without expert legal counsel representing you throughout the process.
