Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

My son is 17 and was arrested and charged with two Class C felonies for terrioist threats. I have evidence to help in clearing his case. He submitted in an application for a Public Defender and was denied because I make too much money, but I do not have the money a criminal attorney is seeking for a retainer. What can I do?

I agree that you should continue to try to find a competent attorney who can take your son's case. Money for atorney's fees can be quite a problem, but what is important to you? If you want the best representation for your son, do you want the cheapest lawyer you can find? Depending upon where the charges are pending I might be able to offer my services to you for a reasonable fee, and I might be abhle towork out some payment plan with you. I have handled Felony cases in a wide variety of jurisdictions for over thirty-four years. Please feel free to contact me.
