Spouses Testifying Against Each Other?
In criminal law can one spouse willingly or unwillingly testify against the other spouse?
I always heard a spouse cannot testify against the other?

Missouri has historically adopted the doctrine to which your question refers. The law supposedly held the institution of marriage in such esteem that it would not allow one spouse to be compelled to testify against the other in a criminal trial. However, many states have modified their use of this doctrine, and it would take some legal research to be absolutely sure that it is still good law in Missouri at this time.Please be sure to consult an attorney and have him or her do that research if necessary well in advance of any trial.
