Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
Statutory rape?
My husband has a 15 yr old daughter from a previous relationship. She does live with her mother. We have been fighting the fact that she is dating an 18 yr old but lately is has been brought to our attention that he is now living with her and sleeping in the same bed. Is this considered statutory rape? Is there anything we can do? Please help, we feel helpless.

Under Missouri law a fifteen year old girl is not old enough to consent to sex. It appears that the eighteen year old boy can be charged with statutory rape. Why don't you speak with the police about bringing charges?
