Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

Stealing by deceit

I have been charged a felony for stealing by deceit. The cashier who I did know voided my entire transaction. I knew they were going to give me thier discount but did not know they were going to void the entire transaction, and the credit card reciept has void on it big as day which I did not see when I scribbled my signature. My question is what is a good law/strategy approach to limit or avoid this felony charge when I go to trial, I am wrong for attempting to get the 15% discount when I am not an employee but I really did not know of the rest and dont know how to begin to prove it. I did later ask why it was voided and all I got was an apology and a statement saying that they made sure the police was told that I was unaware of thier actions yet they still put a warrant out for my arrest.

If you are not already represented by an attorney, you should be. If you are represented, you should ask your attorney any questiions you have. One thing is for sure, you do not want to go through this without a good criminal defense attorney. If you do not already have one, you may feel free to contact me for a consultation.
