Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

Theft question

So some friends and I took some shopping carts from a walmart, and got caught with them.

We just intended to film a video and return them a few days later.

What is the best course of action? Talk to Walmart manager & apologize?

What do you mean by stating that you got caught with the stolen property? Were you arrested? If not, talking with the manager at Walmarts will probably get you arrested. If you have been charged with a crime there is no doubt that you should hire an attorney to represent you. This may seem like no big deal to you, but a conviction for stealing will certainly hae many adverse consequences for you later in life. Please be sure to consult with an attorney.
