Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

I threw away two water bottles in a dumpster at a local business. My wife told me that was illegal when I got home. Is that true? Columbia, MO.

Unless it violates a city ordinance, where you disposed of it, throwing away a water bottle will not land you in jail. Now. talk to your wife about practicing law without a license. Thankfully, they still get (a few) people for that.
