Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
My Wife is being subpoenaed to testify in court in a case regarding burglary. She has a legitimate fear of retaliation by the defendant and/or the defendants associates if she were to testify against the defendant. Are there any substantial chances to quash the subpoena based on this?

Most judges will not quash a subpeona based upon fear of retaliation. Most fears of retaliation are unfounded, but shoudl be brought to the attention of the police and the prosecutor. If they agree that the threat is real, she may be able to testify in disguise.
Good luck
