Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
I worked in retail and I did randomly print off a prior customer receipt and after my shift went to a cashier with only the receipt. The cashier did the return without ever seeing the item and also the return was management approved. I was fired and arrested today for shoplifting. Can I be charged with shoplifting if the the returned item was never in my possession?
