Legal Question in DUI Law in Missouri

Driving Privileges

If my license is suspended in Kansas for a DUI, and I got a valid Missouri driver's license in the time between being stopped and having my Kansas license suspended....is my Missouri license still valid? If I'm pulled of for a traffic violation and my license is run, will it show up suspended, or as nothing since the offense was in a different state.

Re: Driving Privileges

There is a chance that your Missouri license has been suspended already, as the two states do occassional reciprocate, but the paper/computer work is frequently behind. Therefore, your Misouri license probably is not suspended. However, your priveledge of drivng in the State of Kansas has been suspended. So, if you are pulle dover in Missouri, you may not be charged with driving while suspended. If you are pulled over in Kansas, you will probably be charged with Driving while suspended, even though you hold a Missouri Driver's License. It may pay for you to call or go to a local license registration station and check to see the status of your Missouri license.

Good Luck
