Dwi 2nd offense
I was wondering I got a dwi 2nd offense in one year and one month. The first offense I hit a parked car and got a bac of .18. The second offense I pulled out in front of someone to which they claimed injury. My bac was .161. I had an opened container of vodka in my car. Will I still lose my lisence for one year if I hire a good lawyer? My car insurence is taking car of the other person. I have learned my lesson and will now quit drinking!!

Re: Dwi 2nd offense
You definitely need to hire the best attorney you can afford. The results your attorney will be able to obtain on both the DWI itself and regarding your driving privileges will depend upon a variety of factors. Only after an indepth interview, appropriate discovery, perhaps some legal research, and some negotiating with the prosecutor will your attorney be able to give you any specific advice. If you are in the St. Louis area or in any of the surrounding counties, I might be able to help you myself. I have been handling such cases for over twenty-eigth years. You may call me at the office if you would like a free telephone consultation.
