IL clearence for MO drivers license
I have and always had a MO license. cdl since about 1980. I got my 1st dwi in MO in 93, lost license for 90 days. Got 2nd dui(last one)in IL in 95. Both in personal auto. Paid IL fine-etc. MO revoked my license for 5yr. eligible for hardship in 97. In 97 MO refused me because of IL. In 98 I sued MO for hardship, Judge gave me a hardship. Now MO has reinstated my driving privilege, after passing written-driving test license refused because of IL. What does IL have to do with it? Can both states punish me for same crime? Can both suspend my license when I only have a MO? I thought only your home state controlled license?

I would need more info to be sure, but it sounds like you might not have finised taking care of the Illinois case. Are all of your fines and court costs paid? Did the Illinois Court rquire you to complete an alcohol treatment program, and if so, did you do so? did the facility send a Certificate of Completion to the Court? If you would like a free consultation, please call me at 314-727-2822. I am licensed in both states, so I should be able to help you. Thanks.
