Re: Help
If you have a warrant for your arrest, you should hire an attorney to negotiate a plea agreement with that county. If your offense was in the western half of Missouri, I could do that for you. One alternative would be to surrender to the sherrif's deputies in that county, so that you could possibly bond out and then deal with the charge against you. If you were convicted, you definately need an attorney to work on this for you. If you do neither of these, you are waiting until you get pulled over or stopped again, and are arrested on the warrant.
Given that the incident occurred three years ago, I assume you still do not have your license back, or else you wouldn't care about this old of a charge.
Good Luck, I do not reccomend that you do nothing and see what happens.
Re: Help
I wonder why you have waited until now to do anything about this situation. Depending upon many different factors, it may be possible for an attorney to have the outstanding warrant cancelled, or at least make arrangements for you to be able to post bond so that the case can be processed through the court system. Depending upon the facts of the case an attorney might be able to defeat the charge against you. Depending upon your record, it might be possible for an attorney to negotiate a plea bargain which will be to your advantage, if the charges can not be defeated. In any event you definitely need to hire an attorney. If you are not able to do so, you could turn yourself in and ask for a public defender to be appointed to represent you.
