Legal Question in DUI Law in Missouri

I received my first DWI in Missouri six years ago when i was 16. I'm 22 now and just received another DWI. My question is, that because of the amount of time between offenses, am I subject to advanced penalties for the second DWI? any knowledgeable advice will be appreciated.

Yes you are facing tougher penalties and other more serious consequences due to your picking up a second DWI at such a young age. I would very strongly suggest that you hrie the best criminal defense attorney you can afford as soon as possible and then follow your attorney's advice without fail. Our new DWI laws are making everything much tougher and much more expensive for anyone charged with this offense, and I hope that you will be able to obtain a decent result and learn from your mistakes. I have handled hundreds of DWI's in the thirty-three years I have been practicing law, and I might be able to offer my services to you. Please feel free to contact me if you do not already have an attorney. And, beware of all of those solicitations you will receive in the mail from attorneys who you do not know who are trying to get your business.
