I'm on a two year private probation term and have a little over 11 months left. I've done all that has been asked, paid all fines and worked full time. Even stayed in school as well. I was told I could write a letter to my judge to ask for a early release since I can't afford a lawyer to file a motion. I have done so and was wondering if I stand a real chance of getting off early. It was a DUI charge by the way. Also I haven't been in any trouble since this started and it was my first offense. Thanks

You have a chance of being released early from probation. Without knowing what court your in, and what judge, it is impossible to accurately gauge your likelihood of success.
Good luck
