Re: giving of $ to children with assisted living in the future
It is just never a good idea to try to play fast and loose with Medicare or Medicaid. My advice is to consult an attorney specializing in elder law to answer this. If you would like to get a referral to someone very good, simply email me and I will send you the name of a good attorney that you can reach by email. I handle mostly nursing home abuse issues, and don't do anything with the Medicaid/Medicare issues.
There are a number of good attorneys who can advise you on the best way to handle this issue.
