In Mo. I had a TEFRA lien released from a home jointly owned by my dad my brother and myself. Dad is in nursing home and probably die there. It was a lien release because of my disability. It states that in as much as my dad is in debted to Mo Healthnet for medical services paid by mo healthnet he is no longer considered an owner. If after dad dies, can we sell without Mo Healthnet claiming any money?

Probably not. Dad is borrowing money from the state to pay for his medical needs, and his estate has to pay back that loan after dad dies. But the law and procedures vary from state to state and from one county to the next within the state, and there are extra complications going on here. There's no way someone by email is going to be able to figure out what's going to happen after dad dies; much too complicated
Good luck.
