Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
My 15 year old brother is living with my mom and her boyfriend. They drink every night, and her boyfriend has actually hit her twice. He also does drugs in the house, and my brother is not in the safe environment, and im worried for his life. How can i get him out of that house?

If you are of legal age, you meet certain other criteria, and you are able to support your brother, you can file a Petition for Guardianship over your brother. You will need to be able to show that your mother and your brother's natural father are unfit, unwilling, or unable to take care of your brother and that it is in the child's best interest for you to have guardianship.
