16 yr old. daughter

my 16 yr. old daughter lives in iowa with her mom but she wants to move to missouri with me because of the way her mom treats her what do i need to do to try for custody of her?

Is there a court order regarding custody of this child? If so you can file a Motion to Modify. The mother might argue that Iowa has jurisdiction, and the courts will decide where this battle will be fought.
