Abandenment

My ex-husband hasn't made any contacy with our son in a year. Does this mean he can loose his parental rights?

Its possible, but there are more facts needed in such cases. plus you must go to court and get an order to that effect. The process is designed to make sure you tried to contact the father. We do such cases in our firm, and have found that generally the court is sympathetic to your side of things.
