Adoption Petition

My husband and I our adopting through family services in MO. We have filed our petition. Can anyone get a copy of it? I think it has gotten into the hands of the bio family. We were supposed to remain anonymouns.

There are private portions of the adoption paperwork. The petition is not one of them. The reason you had to publish the proposed adoption in that little paper is because it is a public action. Petitions are generally public, so that anyone wiht an interest may inform the Court and enter the action. Please contact the attorney representing you in the action, or your case worker, if you believe the confidential portions of your application have been conpromised.
