Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Age a minor can determine visitation.

At what age can my 14 year old boy decide visitation schedule with the non custodial parent? Is court required to change the visitation or only if the non-custodial parent challenges the child's decision?

Thank you.

The child does not decide visitation! The Judge determines what visitation is in the best interest of the child. If either parent wants to change the legal terms of visitation, that parent may file an appropriate motion with the court. The child may be allowed to express his or her concerns and preferences to the Judge at that time.
