alimony

i have been on permanent disability for a 1 1/2 years , will i still be obligated to continue alimony payments since my income has shrunk 2/3 rds. ( receiving social security disability only ).

You do not tell us how the judgment ordering you to pay maintenance is worded. Is the order "modifiable" or "non-modifiable"? If "modifiable" then you may consider going back to Court with a Motion to Modify and requesting the Court to reduce or eliminate the maintenance payment requirement based upon your current situation.
