Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

bio mom nightmare

My husband has sole legal and physical custody bio mom has visits. She will not call only text. Demanding to see the child(boy 12) then not show up. we have had many problems with the child and she thinks they are funny. she has not spoken the the child in over 6 months and will not talk to father only text. Is this a legal form of contact to commenicate about a child?
