i have a body attachment on me due to failure to appear in court. they say i have to pay $1500 to remove it. i lost my job 7 months ago and this is impossible. what options do i have to avoid jail?

One of your options is to appear in court, and bond out if necessary. Writs of body attachment are ways to make it more likely that the person will appear in court when they are supposed to. Often this is for a debtor's exam. If another hearing is scheduled, and you appear, you might get the writ recalled and released. You might contact the attoprney fo rth eother side, and see what they are looking for. If you can provide the requested infokration or documents, perhaps they will help you get the Writ removed. Not knowing any of the facts of your case, I do not suggest you surrender yrouself unitl you have gone over the specific facts of yrou case with an attorney inyrou area.
