Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My brother in law is getting divorced and wants custody of his four kids he has two school age kids he is moving from Missouri to Florida should he come down enroll the kids in school and get employment then go back to MO for divorce and custody court?

He should definitely consult with an attorney here in Missouri if that is where the children have been residing. I have handled hundreds of divorces in the thirty years I have been practicing law. I require a retainer of at least $1500 and bill at the rate of $200 per hour. If there are any costs incurred, the client is responsible for paying those costs in additon to all attorney's fees.
