Re: name change

You need to file a change of name petition, cost about $500 + court costs. I can help, feel free to contact me at [email protected].

Re: name change

An adult can obtain a name change in most situations by filing a Petition in the Circuit Court and following all applicable procedures. Although a person may legally go through this process without an attorney, I would strongly suggest hiring an attorney to be sure that it is done efficiently and corectly. I would also advise you to avoid hiring any attorney who only posts very brief responses to questions on this site in a lame attempt to solicit new clients. If you read the response previously posted, I'm sure that you can figure out exactly who I am referring to.
