child custody

my exhusban was just granted costody of my children, i live in maryland with the children he lives in missouri (where the judge orderd him cosdody) reason why i could not make several of the court dates because it is costly to me i dont have alot of money and he has even less what are my options

If the children have resided with you in Maryland for at least 6 months, you could enroll the Missouri Order in a Maryland Court and then file for a modification in Maryland. If he has a valid custody order, he may come to Maryland to enforce it.
