child custody

my ex and I have fifty fifty legal and physical custody and he will not release him to me. the cops say take it to court. its a long story but his father is not fit to care for him at the moment. It can all be proven on paper. I need to get my son.

There are several possibilities for you to consider, and it would be best for you to consult with an attorney to get specific advice. You might file a family access motion. You might file a MOtion for Contempt. You might file a Motion to Modify. If the child is in danger of abuse or neglect, you might even file for an Order under the Child Protection Act.
