Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

child custody

I moved from MO to IL with the permision of my sons father in 2004, but not through the courts. He has had visitation with my son whenever he has asked for him. I filed for a modification of the child supprt and when he rcvd the papers he filed for custody and to have me held in contempt of court for refusal of visitation. I have proof he has had regular visitations. will the court hold me in contempt. what happens when it is just b/c he doesnt want to pay any more in child support?

Re: child custody

Your questions are not the type of questions that an attorney can easily answer on the internet. You need to consult with an attorney in person, in the county where the Motion for

Contempt is pleading. You will need to hire an attorney to represent you in that case. That attorney will answer your questions for you. Good luck.
