Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

my child custody paper said i was to be in a certain place at a certain time to pick up my son for my summer vacation unless BOTH parents agree otherwise. i wasnt able to make it and called him and asked to get him the next day and he wont let me have my son since i wasnt able to make the time and place the day befor eventhough i called prior to the pick up time and told him i wasnt able to be there. 2 officers have told me different stories about what needs to be done. can i get my son legally still since i am suppose to have him for the next to weeks? or can he tell me i cant get him since i couldnt the day of?

If you are to have yrou Son for two weeks, you are still allowed to get yrou Son if the two weeks hav ento expired. If there was reason that you were nto pick up your Son at the home where he normally lives, the reason may still exist, so you, in that case, may not be allowed to just go pick hiom up without Police escort. Find the officer that said you coudl go get yrou kid and have him accompany you, if the other parent will nto not agree to a new meeting time at the previous place. If the Officer will nto accompany you, then you may have to seek to have the Court cite the other parent for contempt and to alter the custody Order.

Good luck.
